Focus: ON - Promoting Distraction-Free Learning Environments
Beginning for the 2025-2026 school year, HCS students in grades K-12 are not permitted to display or use a cell phone, smartwatch, or other electronic communication device on school property during the school day.

Impact Academy Excellence
Impact Academy offers an academically challenging setting that empowers students to become lifelong learners and critical thinkers preparing them for a successful future. We also strive to provide an environment where students feel like they belong, are cared for, heard, and safe.
Impact Academy is proud to announce that the Georgia Department of Education has granted the program full school status. We have also received accreditation from COGNIA (NCA CASI/NWAC/SACS CASI).
The 2025 school year will culminate in Impact Academy having it's inaugural graduating class. Many of our seniors have already been accepted to colleges and universities and as of December 2024, $1,230,184 of scholarships have been offered to our students.
PSAT scores for Impact Academy's 2024/2025 10th grade students have exceeded most local and state scores.
The 2025 Impact Academy Teachers of the Year (TOTY) have been announced. Lauren Coleman is the middle school TOTY and Cassandra Dorsey is the high school TOTY. Congratulations ladies and well deserved!
# 1 Graduation Rate
With a 95.9% graduation rate for the class of 2025, Impact Academy celebrates being #1 in the district, surpassing both the district and state averages. Our success is a testament to the dedication of our students, families, and staff.
