Hello Impact Scholars! 

I am excited to be your teacher this year! 

This is my 20th year as a Henry County teacher and my 10th year at Impact Academy. I graduated from Georgia College and State University with a Bachelor's Degree in English Literature and a Master's Degree in Teaching. I also attended the University of Georgia and received my Specialist's Degree in Education. (Go Dawgs!) I teach World Literature at Impact for both full-time and part-time students.

I am married to my husband, Jonathan, and we have a 12 year-old daughter, Ava. 

Being a mom and a teacher keeps me pretty busy, but when I do have time for fun you will probably find me in my garden or curled up with a good book and a nice cup of coffee. A few of my other favorite things include traveling, cooking, SEC football, sushi, and spending time with my family. 

I am looking forward to a wonderful year together!
