All About Mrs. Miller
Mrs. DeAnna Miller
Welcome! I'm glad you are here.
Hello, my name is DeAnna Miller. Can you guess where I am from? Here is my hint. "There's no place like home." You guessed it! I'm from Kansas. Although I was born in Missouri, I spent most of my life in Kansas. I've been married for thirty-one years and together we have five young adults (our children), and five grandchildren.
I received my Bachelors of Science in Early Childhood Education and my Master's Degree in Education from Thomas University in Thomasville, Georgia. My Educational Leadership Degree was received from Columbus State University in Columbus, Georgia. I am also reading, math, and gifted endorsed.
Previously, I have taught in Gadsden County, Florida and Decatur County, Georgia. I have taught EIP, kindergarten, third, fifth, and sixth grades. In addition to teaching, I have served in many additional roles involving education. This will be my tenth year teaching in Henry County School District and seventeenth year teaching overall. Before entering the field of education, I worked in the healthcare sector.
Please feel free to contact me with any questions that you may have. Together, we will ensure that you have a successful experience in Early Childhood Education. Many of the skills that you learn will prepare you for life outside the classroom as well. I am so excited to be a part of this experience with you.
Again, welcome to our CLASS! It's going to be a GREAT year!
